Each year, the American Staffing Association (ASA) designates this week to recognize the millions of temporary and contract employees who keep America’s businesses running strong. Here in North Carolina, more than 147,000 temporary and contract employees work in the staffing and recruiting industry every single week. These employees fill vital roles across manufacturing, clerical, and professional sectors, and the majority of them work full-time. Even more exciting—many of these jobs lead to permanent opportunities.
For us at ProStaffing, this week is about more than numbers. It’s about celebrating the people who show up every day with hard work, dedication, and skill to keep production lines moving, offices organized, and businesses thriving.
National Staffing Employee Week salutes the temporary and contract employees who contribute to the economy of North Carolina and the entire nation.
